Orders and shipping
How long will my order take to arrive?
We prepare every order at our warehouse in Spain. Orders without personalization confirmed before 14:00 (mainland Spain time), Monday to Friday, ship the same day; those placed later, on a weekend or holiday, ship the next business day.
- Mainland Spain: 24 h.
- Mainland Portugal and Balearic Islands: 2–3 business days.
- Rest of the European Union: 3–4 business days.
- Canary Islands: 5–7 business days, via Correos.
- Outside the European Union: we ship from Spain to countries where we have no local distributor, from 12,99 € depending on the country. Any import taxes and duties are paid by the recipient. Message us and we'll tell you the delivery time.
As soon as your order leaves the warehouse, you'll get an email with the tracking number so you can see where it is at all times. All the details are in our shipping information.
Is shipping free?
Yes. Shipping is free from 65 € to mainland Spain, mainland Portugal and the Balearic Islands, and from 100 € to the rest of the European Union. Below those amounts, shipping to the rest of the EU costs from 9,90 € depending on the country. Outside the EU it costs from 12,99 € depending on the country, and any import taxes and duties are paid by the recipient. Shipping to the Canary Islands costs 9,90 € with no free shipping; orders ship without VAT, and IGIC and any customs clearance fees are paid by the recipient. The exact cost is calculated at checkout based on your address, before you pay, so there are never any surprises. More in our shipping information.
Can I exchange or return a product?
Yes. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your order to request a size exchange or a return, as long as the product is unused, with its tags and in its original packaging. That way you can try your gloves on at home with peace of mind. Gloves without the palm's protective film and personalized gloves can't be returned.
- Size exchange: free in mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and mainland Portugal. From other countries, a size exchange is easy: you cover both shipments and we send your new size as soon as we receive yours.
- Return: if you no longer want it, we pay return shipping from mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and mainland Portugal; from other countries, you pay it. We refund the product and the original standard shipping within 14 calendar days at most.
- Manufacturing defect: no cost to you. Send us photos and we'll assess it.
To get started, write to info@n1gloves.com or message us on WhatsApp with your order number and we'll send you the instructions. The full process is in exchanges and returns.
Can personalized gloves be returned?
Gloves personalized with a name or number are made especially for you, so they can't be exchanged or returned unless there's a manufacturing defect. That's why we recommend confirming your size with the size finder before personalizing, and if you're torn between two sizes, message us on WhatsApp before placing your order.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay by credit or debit card, PayPal, Klarna and bank transfer. Payment is processed in a secure, encrypted checkout: N1 doesn't store your card details.
Gloves, sizes and cuts
How do I measure my glove size?
Goalkeeper glove size is based on hand length, not age or clothing size:
- Lay your dominant hand open on a table, fingers together and straight.
- Place the ruler on the second wrist crease, right where the palm ends.
- Measure in a straight line to the tip of the middle finger and note the measurement in centimeters.
With that measurement, the size finder gives you your size instantly. The full chart, from size 3 to 11, is in the size guide. Tip: measure after training, when your hand is slightly more swollen.
What if I'm between two sizes?
Choose the bigger one. The palm latex settles in over the first two or three uses and your hand needs room to close naturally: a slightly snug glove adapts, but a small one never gets bigger.
In the snuggest cuts, like Negative and Vapor Negative, even more so. With a Flat cut you can go with your exact size. A well-fitted glove leaves 0.5 to 1 cm free at the fingertips.
Which latex do I need?
All N1 competition palms are 100 % natural German latex. What changes is the formula, the latex thickness and the inner foam, and that determines grip, cushioning and durability:
-
UGT+ II4 mm + 3 mm foam
Our benchmark Pro palm. The highest grip in the range, in dry and wet conditions, with very good cushioning.
-
Contact Grip4 mm + 4 mm
The softest palm, with grip almost equal to UGT+ II, designed for natural grass, rain and cold. It needs more care on abrasive surfaces.
-
Giga Grip4 mm + 3 mm
High grip and great durability for goalkeepers who compete every week.
-
DUO Grip3.5 + 2 mm latex · 3 mm foam
Double latex layer that absorbs impact when catching, protects the hand from hard shots and is the longest-lasting adult palm.
-
SSG3 mm + 3 mm
Real grip and durability for goalkeepers who are starting out and training. It's the Kids range palm, sizes 3 to 7.
Many goalkeepers combine two pairs: one with a Pro palm for matches and a tougher one for training, so the competition latex reaches the weekend intact. Full details on every palm in palm types.
Which glove cut should I choose?
The cut is how the palm latex joins the backhand, and it decides how the glove fits your hand: snug like a second skin or comfortable and roomy.
-
Inner seams and wraparound latex. Super snug, second-skin feel and maximum ball contact.
-
Inner seams and a snug fit, with lots of feel and direct ball contact.
-
Negative on the middle fingers and Roll Finger on the index and little finger. A precise fit with more latex on the outer fingers, which take the most punishment on side catches.
-
The latex fully wraps the fingers: maximum contact surface, more cushioning and a solid, reinforced glove.
-
An evolution of the Roll Finger: a Flat finger base, more comfortable and less bulky, and latex-wrapped tips. A rounded surface that hugs the ball with a more natural fit.
-
Roll Finger and Flat. Comfortable, wraparound and with lots of contact surface.
-
The classic cut, with outer seams. Roomy, comfortable and easy to put on and take off.
Narrow hand or long fingers: Vapor Negative or Negative. Wide hand: Flat or Hybrid Roll-Flat. Security and a reinforced glove: Roll Finger or Ergo-Roll. If you're not sure: Hybrid Roll-Negative, which works well for most hands. Note: within the same model, each color may have a different cut; check the product page. All the cuts are in the cut guide.
What surfaces can I use my gloves on?
All N1 gloves work on any surface; what changes is how each palm performs and how long it lasts:
- Natural grass: is where soft latex gives the most grip. UGT+ II and Contact Grip perform at their best.
- Rain and cold: Contact Grip and UGT+ II are the palms that perform best in the wet. Always wet your gloves before playing.
- Artificial turf: is more abrasive and wears latex out faster. For daily training, DUO Grip stands up best to friction, and Giga Grip also lasts longer than UGT+ II and Contact Grip; for matches you can keep using your competition palm.
- Dirt and hard surfaces: DUO Grip, the longest-lasting adult palm, or Giga Grip, ideally in a pair just for training so you don't worry about wearing the palm.
On any surface, abrasion appears from first use and doesn't affect grip. More in palm types.
Care and durability
What should I do before first use?
New latex needs activating to deliver full grip:
- Carefully remove the plastic film from the palm, if your model has one.
- Pre-wash them one to three times: soak the gloves in cold or lukewarm water, gently squeeze the palm so the water soaks into the latex and let them drain, without scrubbing or wringing.
- Let them dry in the shade before using them.
It's normal for them to lose some grip after the first wash: grip is fully activated after two or three pre-washes or one or two training sessions. Step by step in glove care.
How do I use them so they last longer?
- Wet the palm before and during use: natural latex grips better wet than dry and suffers less.
- Work on your diving technique so the palm doesn't scrape the ground when you dive.
- Don't use your gloves for anything else: don't pull up your socks or carry goals, nets or balls with them on.
- Alternate two pairs, one for training and one for matches: the latex rests, dries properly between uses and your competition pair stays intact.
How do I wash my gloves? Can I use detergent?
Wash them after every use, because sweat and dirt dry out the latex:
- Use cold or lukewarm water, never hot.
- Use mild soap or detergent. Avoid regular (non-neutral) detergents and soaps: they contain harsh chemicals that dry out the latex, reduce its grip and shorten its life.
- Soak the gloves and squeeze the palm to get the dirt and sweat out, without scrubbing or wringing.
- Rinse with clean water until no soap is left, because residue dries out the latex too.
- Gently squeeze out the excess water; a towel can help.
How do I dry and store them?
Let them dry naturally, on a drying rack or a towel, in the shade and away from any heat source. Never in a tumble dryer, on a radiator, with a hair dryer or in the sun: heat hardens and cracks latex.
Once they're dry, store them in a cool, dark place until next use.
How long does an N1 glove last?
It depends on use, surface and care. Most amateur goalkeepers use 3 to 4 pairs a year: you can expect a lifespan of 2 to 3 months per pair. A pro goalkeeper usually goes through a pair every 2–3 weeks due to the extreme demands of training and competition.
Training daily on artificial turf shortens latex life; washing them after every use with mild soap or detergent, drying them in the shade and alternating two pairs extends it.
Is it normal for the palm to wear from first use?
Yes. Natural latex is soft precisely so it can grip, which is why it suffers abrasion from the start, especially on artificial turf or dirt. That surface wear doesn't affect grip as long as you look after the glove. Wetting the palm before playing, good diving technique and a dedicated training pair greatly reduce wear.
Is latex wear covered by the warranty?
Natural latex wear from use isn't a manufacturing defect, just as a worn shoe sole isn't. We do cover manufacturing defects: seams that open without misuse, or faults in the closure or materials. If you spot a possible manufacturing defect, send us photos so we can assess the issue. Our team will decide whether the product needs to be collected or whether we can resolve it without you having to return it. If the defect is confirmed, you can choose to receive a new product or request a refund. In either case, N1 will cover the related costs and will only collect the original product if it considers it necessary.
Personalization
Can I personalize my gloves?
Yes. You can add your name and/or number to each glove for 9,90 €, just like the pros. You can put the same text on both gloves or different text on the left and right, up to 15 characters per glove.
Only letters, numbers and QWERTY keyboard characters can be used; crests and flags can't be added. Remember that personalized gloves can't be exchanged or returned unless defective. More in personalization.
